Answer:

i have only been dancing for 6 years, but most people on the team have danced like 9 or 10! there are many things that you need to have if you really want to compete, but mostly just have good technique (especially turns) and have a lot of strength. and although i have never been on a diet in my life/worked out outside of dance, it is a good idea to try and do those things as much you can because it will only help you!
